Almighty God, we make our earnest prayer. That thou willt keep the United States in thy holy protection. That thou wilt incline the hearts of its citizens to cultivate a spirti of subordination and and obiedience toward government and finally that thou willt most graciusly be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, lover mercy and enertain a brotherly affection twoard one another and toward their fellow cituzens of the United States at large.
